A Museum Burned to The Ground in Cuba and All That Was Left Was Ancient Vessels is a project made up of artworks with a very specific form: compositions of large photographic prints and objects that dialogue with each other.
The project deals with such topics as displacements, memories, things that are in a place where they don´t belong. Its title makes reference to a fact that actually happened in a pre-hispanic ceramics museum of La Habana.
The compositions demand some observation time to unfold a game of subtle relationships. A game of memories, impossible situations, traces and things and people. Stories that bend time and physical nature with a humorous, warm and rare emotion.
